Two Ceremonies, One Love: A Sikh-Muslim Wedding on Lake Como

A dreamlike wedding saw this beautiful newly wed couple celebrating their union with both a Sikh anand karaj and a Muslim nikkah ceremony at Villa Erba on Lake Como, Italy. The festivities began with a Bengali aiburobhat feast, followed by a Sicilian-inspired ‘gaye haldi pool party’ combining Bengali and Punjabi traditions. The couple honored their respective cultures by incorporating family heirlooms into their attire for both ceremonies.
